Krysmopompas started in Berlin in 2004, using bass/drums/guitar and an old casio keyboard.

Musical Influences:
Generally the music is influenced by Post-Punk and New Wave-Bands (Gang Of Four, Wire, The Fall, Edith Nylon, early Pulp and so on).. and specifically by German Post Punk /New Wave-Bands from the 80's, like “Fehlfarben”, “Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle”, “Der KFC”, “Blumfeld”, “Grauzone”, but also German (Dark) Punk-Bands (mostly) from nowadays, like “Düsenjäger”, Dackelblut”, “EA 80”, “Xmal Deutschland” ..

Influences for the lyrics:
Besides some references to the lyrics of other bands, Krysmopompas tried to find a style on playing with the words and their senses.. like “post-modern-writers” do, but on a PUNK-style: confused, rough, subliminal pissed off of “average life”-happyness .. (for example in that way: contrasting “happy” pop-music-riffs with rough lyrics).
